Source recordings from inside several irrigation pipes that dot the landscape here in McAllen. Those were then played through a couple pedals to get this sort of crackling grainy miasma. Additional high-pitched tones and pops in the recording are from bundling together the low-quality cables that I use for recording. Definitely inspired by Kevin Drumm and Lawrence English on this one. I'll certainly be revisiting the irrigation pipe recordings at a later date, but I was getting the itch to release something so...here you go!

And yes, that IS a reference to my favorite X-Files episode. It was playing when I began the editing process.
